Smile Midpipe or downpipe for 3GS?

hey guys
Does anyone know if there is any brand out there that makes a downpipe or midpipe for the 3GS. I know Megan Racing makes one for the 2GS. Any help would be great thanks.

Just have a shop make one custom for you. Not that much work and will cost much less for you

I am going next weekend to have a true dual exhaust fabricated and can let you know how that goes.

i didn't think there would be huge gains from exhaust? what kind of gains are you expecting to get? i assume you are replacing from cat down?

I am going to find out will do a base line and then another with custom exhaust and 3" SRT intake. The car will get tuned for both....The IS and ISF got okay gains from a full exhaust so I figure with the V8 it will be right in line. I will post before and after #'s to show. Main reason is to get some sound out of the car as its too quiet for my taste.

was it you or someone else that had problem with dyno? our GS can't hold a gear to do a correct dyno pull - so you've figured out the pedal dance for the dyno i assume?

I haven't tried it and we figured out it was where I went. An ISF owner went to the same shop as I suggested them, nice group of guys, but his car didn't work on it either. There is something wrong with the Dyno or they just don't know what they are doing Feel bad but its also a relief that it wasn't my car. I will for sure try this pedal dance to that we can hold gear and turn of all nannies I can

I am guessing ~ 40hp with intake and exhaust. Nothing earth shattering here that will take this car to the next level. Its the sound that will grab my attn

ah, good to know it's not your car! yeah, let us know if the pedal dance works for you, and allows you to hold your car in gear for the dyno run.

on a side note, ~ 40 hp is nothing to sneeze at with intake/exhaust! i would be surprised if you can get that type of gain without headers included. seriously interested in seeing your dyno results, good luck!

40hp gain from intake & full exhaust?! I'd be interested to see that too!
