**NEW UPDATE**
Just received a call from the Department Specialist himself offering to pay for two of ANY tires that I decided to buy ANYWHERE!!!
I was not expecting this at all and quite honestly cannot believe that I am given this offer. I guess happy ending and satisfaction is better late than never right?
Time to go tire shopping!!!

I just got them so it is too early to tell. They give you more feedback from the road than the Yokohama Avan a10b I had before. They stick to the road pretty good. I need more miles to give a decent opinion. I could have put Cooper truck tires on the car and been happier than with those Yokohama Avans. You get the tire on your car already? If you use winter tires you might be happier with the Michelin PS2.

And no I don't use dedicated winter tires. Thanks!

Good to hear they offered to replace 2 of them. I'm really disappointing with the tires they give here. The Dunlop SP Sport 2050s are a joke with virtually 0 grip in snow, which is pretty rare here in Vancouver. I had no car for close to a month (freak snowstorms for almost a whole month) because I couldn't get into the driveway, which has an incline about the height of a sidewalk! Even if I managed to get out, there would still barely be any grip on level roads. There wasn't any ice or anything, just a bit of snow. Apparently, even the AWD version gets these, which is laughable in the rest of Canada. I think I'll talk to my service advisor about this, since they even slip in the rain from time to time on making turns following SUVs and subcompacts!
Sorry for the rant, but Lexus should be putting better tires on their cars. If I lived in a desert they would be pretty good, but if they are offering different tires in Canada, they should choose good ones.

I would definitely talk to the service supervisor and then contact Lexus.

I had an ADVAN 10B on my GS350 get an "impact break" or "pinch shock" with only 2500 miles....they blamed it on them being low profile tires and driving into potholes, driving, etc. Interestingly I've driven in the exact same places with my other cars that have even lower profile tires (NOT YOKs) and never had a problem. Anyway, Yokahama ended up paying to replace the tire as a courtesy. If they had not done that, I would not have bought one myself...I would have replaced the tires with something better for a lot less money (They want over $300 for that A10 crap).
