how would this look? cheesy? anyone have pics? i am thinking about getting the grey interior but hate how dirty the mats will be for a daily driver. the dash and trim are pretty much black (same as in an all black interior) right? thanks.
My winter mats are black and I have the grey interior. It looks fine.
I actually did this on my 02 ES and it looked fine there are well. The only draw back is the accent lighting on your feet is not as bright as if it were shining on grey mats.
I just got the clear " exact mats" that you can get at any lexus dealership. Its clear so you can still have the interior color that flows while still protecting your mats

how much do they charge for the clear exact mat? i was thinking about getting some mats like weather tech ones, but this sounds tempting..

they go $70
They look better because there is no disruption to the interior color scheme that lexus designed. The others are talking **** because they have black matts that belong in a ford F 150

I am not a fan of the F150 blue collar look. They are sold at the Lexus dealership. They are perfect and come with clips . They are not the same quality as the walmart BS or the weather tech crap. I live in AZ I dont need to sacrifice the integrity of the interior design and color scheme with black matts because we have no rain/ snow.
