the primacy hp's are very good tires as oem. if it wasn't because of upgrading to new shoes, i would be fairly content with them.

A ton of people have recommended the Pilot Sport A/S Plus and some have mentioned the Potenza 960 All-Season. The Potenzas are certainly cheaper on Tire Rack than the Pilots and there is the $75 gift card you mentioned.

I wonder why Lexus doesn't just put all-season tires on these GS430's? Not "sporty" enough?
to be honest i'd go with the cheaper ones, i am sure they are both good

about stock tires? i don't think they are anything spectacular at all, even though they are "summer tires". loud, and i don't think their handling is that good for their price

How about the Pirelli PZero Nero All Seaseaon. Their noise rating seems to be above the other

Those "run flats" are definitely not worth that kind of money. I have had the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S twice and the Potenza 960 A/S once. I love the Michelins, but was not too impressed with the Potenzas because I got 3 out of round tires in my batch. What a hassle to get them replaced.

I want to try the Pilot Sport A/S PLUS next time. That is their newest tire.

Default Decision Made...

So I ordered the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires from Tire Rack this morning. Good pricing. Potenza 960s would have cost me like $220 less since they were cheaper and after Bridgestone's rebate but I went with the Pilots. Hope they are good. Tires Plus will install them for me next Wednesday. $82 out the door. That's a good deal.

Thanks to all for the recommendations and feedback.

I'll circle back with some feedback after a few hundred miles if anyone is interested.

Do for sure. I just put them on my GS430 and have been experiencing a slight drift to the right. I also had the recall work done so jury is still out on what the cause is for sure.

Tires more sensitive to road surfaces, radial pull, dealer bad alignment or electronic steering rack.

That's a fantastic deal if it's for all four tires! How did you get it? My Potenza's were just delivered yesterday, and the best I found so far is $120 for all 4.

I had Michelin PS2s on my GS350, the best tires ever made. Extremely quiet, comfortable and easily had another 15-20k tread life left after 25k miles.

I almost went with the PS2s but decided on the A/S Sport Plus because of the 45K tread warranty. If I knew you could get that much miles out of PS2s, I would of went that route.

wow, 40k miles on ps2? that's unheard of! all the people i know with ps2 they change out in like 15k miles. i don't expect those on my m3 last too long neither

Yup, I had the loud factory Yokos swapped out at 15k miles and sold the car with 40k miles on it. Tires looked like they were 1/2 worn at best and had plenty of depth to the tread indicators. PS2s are amazing tires!
