We are still waiting on member Batman to take this car to ISS and get it tested. An axle back is a waste imho, a full cat-back would be much better.

So?

Any drop in filters available for the GS430? I am gonna take a wild guess and assume the GS430 and GS460 airboxes are identical?

I have no clue. I contacted K&N last week and the guy told me that you can request a product be made on their website and if there is enough interest, they would.

I put the request in for the 460 so maybe we should try to get everyone else that has one on this board to put requests in.

The link is: Http://www.knfilters.com/products_needed/default.aspx

I just purchased a TOM's high flow air filter. They confirmed it fits the 4.6V8

Maybe if we could prove or get a few 460 buyers together, we could convince someone there is demand to make an intake.
Dude...I've been waiting for over 3 years for my 2006 GS 430 for an intake...I thought SRT would have made one by now even though they specialize in the GS's 2005 and prior. I loved it on my 2000 GS400.
They told me 2 years ago they needed a R & D car up in Md and still surprised they haven't done it.

Is it just a drop in filter or an intake system? Also, please keep us informed on your experience with it (Does it fit?, noticable gains?, etc.)

It's a drop in filter.

Not going to happen. But I did "test" fit the 2gen GS430 and it will work. You just need a NEO or SAFC for the larger pipe. The car sounds sick with the larger intake. I have a Custom Wire Harness for our car to wire up a Apex NEO. All you need is the pipe or have a custom pipe made and to take your GS to the dyno. I would just have a shop custom make something for you. PM me if your interested in the wire harness. Its brand new.
