Question Help with new wheels

Hi Everybody!
It has been a while since I was looking for new wheels but still remember a joy of opening up a box with a brand new Work Euroline 17 inch chrome wheels. The mod bug is coming back to me with my new 430 and I decided to upgrade my stock (still good looking) wheels to the new set of 19, before my tires go bold. I'm not planning to lover the car this time and also don't want to mess with spacers but want the new look for a car without changing driving characteristics (The ideal look I'm trying to achieve is the “bad a$$” look of the Greedy show car). I have never run “the bigger than the stock” wheels on my car before and will need your help on the offset and other technical aspects of the new setup. I also would like to hear your opinion on my wheel choices as I don't want to spend all that money and have no improvement in comparison to my current stock setup.

Ideas:
• To get a new black chromed wheels (Sporbo Fervore or Steez Nicross) in size 19 (Don't want to loose all my teeth with 20, as there is pretty match no air in the tire)
• No VIP look, get solid wheel without a lip (Easy to balance, don't want to destroy it on SF roads in one year, don’t want to bend it as well)
• Get the best looking offset.
• Spend under 2k as the car is a daily driver, 5k varianzasc1 or Schwert setup looks like overkill for my car.

Technical questions:
• Is the diameter of 19 inch wheel with tire the same as 18 with tire? I'd like to see the real speed of the car when I'm driving.
• What is the most conservative offset for the rear to look good and not to have any issues at all?
• Can I go with 19 x 8 (front) and 19 x 9 (rear) as the following wheels don't come in 8 x 8.5 or 19 x 9.5?
• What is the recommended offset for the front? The stock looks good to me.
• Does bolt pattern 5x114.3 fit GS?
• What are the numbers of stock 18 inch wheel? (18 x 8.5?)

Do you like the wheels? Have you ever seen them in person? Is the black chrome a good choice for a dark car?

This is all new to me. Am I missing something? Please help me to avoid making costly mistakes and get the best looking setup. I'm not well educated on the wheel/tire subject; please treat me as a noob.

Thanks for all your feedback.

IMO do the 20's and stick to wheels with a lip . You live in SF not NY denting wheels shouldnt be an issue especially if you are going with a stock ride height. If you do the stock height then you will probably do the 245/35 in the front. This will provide you plenty of sidewall provided that the tire pressure are somewhere in the low 40's. Do it right the first time. 19's are so close to 20's. Do the Dubs and you wont regret it
