good job! but what's that wire above the mirror that i see? you need to hide it a bit more and it would be perfect

^ there is a plastic cover that goes there. The wires are for the mirror, V1, and the rain sensor. It got dark out so I need to finish it up on Saturday. Should have it done soon. There is one more thing I have to mount and will post more pics when I am 100% done

^ My old NSX or the V1 mirror? I first saw the mirror on there. Funny we where probably on there around the same time. I had a red NSX, had it for sale on their also, but it was totaled in the expressway. Lucky to have walked away from the car. I couldn't believe how many on there wanted to buy it from insurance when I had updated the car was totaled. Crazy thing is it was fixed and has a salvage title. I was at my buddy's Acura dealer and got to see the work that was done. There was a Baseball sized weld in the front holding a part of the frame together I cant believe it made it back on the road and the person that purchased it probably has no idea how bad it really was.

So everyone knows V1 doesn't sell this. I though they did but its custom made only. I will try to finish the install today and get a little video since taking a pic at a mirror in the car just doesn't do justice. They are not a vendor on here but I am willing to post the info for the rest if that is okay with the mods. I am impressed with the emails and follow up even after I have it for a week. He said they mainly do this for Porsche, BMW, NSX, Ferrari, & other exotics. I think I was his first Lexus. If you don't have navigation you do loose your compose on the mirror but I didn't care. I have navi and I don't need a compose for direction.

More to follow

very nice stuff! can't wait to read more details about it. i know some companies have this done for years already but on generic rear view mirrors. having this one on the oem one that's very nice, since it has all the homelink in it too

the autodim feature is still retained right?

of course it's ok to post up the shop info as long as you aren't affiliate with them

That's a nice custom mod, but I know it ain't cheap. I went with this instead on my Z and the GS http://www.countryjoycrafts.com/350Z/valentinemount.htm. It's a lot cheaper .

^ yea that is much cheaper but the radar is visible from others to take. no one will know its in your rear view mirror. The V1 is not visible once installed. I installed the volume control yesterday but its a tight fit and not sure it will work where I placed it. I will post a pic. Still need to do the V1 itself. Its just finding the perfect spot for everything now.
