I am not positive either so please check. Either way we can do the math from there to see what will/wont fit and of course what the OP wants from a look stand point. I though I recalled the rims being 18x8.8 or 18x8.5 as I had to order 2 new rims a few months back. From what I recall the 18.8.5 is for the IS and the 18x8.8 is for the GS. It should be on Sewell Lexus website or any for that matter.

there is no such thing as 8.8" wheels. widths are always in .5" increment, so it's either 8" or 8.5"
i found this thread
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...el-offset.html
if it's right, then it's 18x8 +45.
from lexus.com, stocks are 18x8

Okay so here it is...my rims are 18x8.5 +45 so you can see what size my rim and offset. I am 245/40-18 on my tire size in that pic.
Just follow what rominl is saying and I am sure it will all work out.
G/L with everything.
Edit: My suggestion is to measure where you want the rim to sit and then convert to mm to see what the correct size spacer for your taste. Everyone on here will have a different opinion on what you should or shouldnt use. Its all preference IMO.

I am just curios now...how does one measure a rim??
I measured one of the rims I have in the garage and if I go lip to lip its 9"...if I measure the inner barrel its slightly over 8.5"...That could be my tape measure but I am curious now as the more I think about this I am 99% sure the guy at Lexus Parts said it was 18x8.8 and Yes that seems off and I though I had questioned it myself. This was 6 mos ago and I am old so who knows. I just want to make sure I am giving accurate info here for the OP....

^ I will take a pic then with measure tape. If its from bead to bead its more then 8.5. I need to see if I can find the papers here. I am sure I am wrong here but after measuring the rim something doesnt seem right here then. Assuming its bead to bead to properly measuer the width of the rim. I have never done it nor needed to. Once I have pics you can then all post back and tell me I am crazzy

little confused ![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
rominl.. op's wheels are wider than the OEM. 6.5mm outward to compensate about 13mm of extra width. assuming that passnu's spec is the max w/out any rubbing issue +45 offset and 20mm spacer, +40 and 15mm spacer is ideal for the op, but take account the fact that his wheels are 6.5mm outward, his offset is actually about +33. even 10mm spacer will barely clear his rear with his over spec tires.

assume stock wheels 8 +45
op's wheels are 8.5 +40
i actually based my calculation from my wheels and other aftermarket wheels i have seen. 8.5 +40 is equivalent (outboard wise) with 9.5 +52 or 10 +58
i know people with 10 +43 with 275 tires and they clear just fine in the rear without any fender mods. that's why i said 15mm should be no problem
passnu had 20mm and that makes his wheels effectively 8+25, which is equivalent to 9+37, or 10+49
i don't know why it appears to be so close to the fender. one thing i can think of is, passnu had the spyder wheels right? are spyder wheels 8.5 instead of 8?

I am 100% certain they are at least 8.5 after measuring and when I was on the site last night it shows (current) 18x8 or 18x8.5 (offered through Lexus) I will measure the wheel tonight as I have 2 sitting in the garage with no tire and will take a pic. Its not 18x8 that I can promise everyone. I measured it last night and outer lip to outer lip is 9" wide. I dont belive the rims have a 1/2 worth of lip (total) When I measured from inner lip to inner lip it was more then 8.5?? haha...I can say you are better to go off 8.5 if you use my specs. My tire is OEM spec so no oversized tires are on my car or those rims.
