Next Sonata steals the GS dash...
At least the center stack area. They are just too nice to resist. That, and Hyundai has a nasty habit of copying other car maker designs.

Ahhhhhh.... I'm talking about the center stack, not the gauge area. In car talk, that is the IP, or area housing the radio and A/C controls. The overall shape and positioning looks GS. Ditto with the mild arc above the glovebox.
And yes, copying designs is common these days, but Hyundai has been known to go nuts over Lexus designs. They've even admitted to it in a Veracruz press release.

Besides, there is only so many different styles of dashboards, so eventually some of them will look similar.

another waste of my precious 30 seconds....lol
doesnt look similar to the GS in my eyes...but i have to say that hyuandai is coming up fast and is becoimg a few peoples favorite...i just dont know if they can shake off that stigma which their name carries cos many people attribute cheapness to hyundai.

HEY THE SHIFTER LOOKS SIMILAR TO!!!! lol i dont see much of a copy goin on here actuallyr, but i must admit driving the sport tuned hyundai genesis is AMAZING!!!! not as soft and fluid getting up to speed as GS but its an excellent buy for the penny. but the name...HYUNDAI kills it
