Time for some new tires?

i'm also looking for well balanced tires.
there's no point buying cheap tires if they wear out fast. they end up being more expensive.
I want something that has ok noise level, and is relatively cheap and has good wear

i live here in houston.. and currently rolling NITTO INVO's... and i love 'em... had Toyo Proxes TR-1's, those were dope too,... all of which, be mine twenties ( from 30 series / rear 25 series ) run a little over $300 a piece.
INVO has a sick tread pattern, and rolled sidewall,... good for lowered cars....

I recently put the Bridgstone RE960as pole position on my car and they run great. They might be a little soft but a lot more quiet and cheaper than the stock Dunlops that I had on them. The treadwear is rated at 400AA which is really good for ultra performance all season tires. In comparison, the PS2 are rated at 220aa for summer tires. The PS2 are definitely great performing tires but not worth it for a relaxed driver. Do a search online and you might find the Bridgestone for around $150-180 each. These tires come highly recommended on tirerack.com

OK...don't laugh at this suggestion.
If cost is an issue, consider a set of Kumis. I recently put a set of four on my Reatta (the car is an occasional Sunday driver) and I am impressed with their quietness and performance (on curves). Compared to equivalent Continentals, these were $25 less per tire and received favorable reviews on tiretrack.com. Something to consider...

Update - So, at 28,500 miles, i decided to replace the Michelin PS2's that i had on the car. I chose the BF Goodrich Super Sport A/S tires and had them
installed last week at Costco.

Ever since then, (it could be my imagination, but i dont think so), above 70 mph, the car seems "bouncy" now. I'm not talking about over bumps, but just straight driving down the freeway. I checked the air pressure, they were set at 35, so I lowered it to 33, but it still seems bouncy. No vibrations, just bouncy. I will note that they were filled with Nitrogen if that makes a difference. Could it be the tires? Balancing? A Bad one? My imagination?
What should i do?
I am going on a long drive tonight, and will get a better feel for sure.
Thanks!

EXP Cougar,
I had the COnti pro contacts on my car and they were great. I had them for 40,000 miles and the wore very nicely. HOWEVER, I kept the PSI at 39-40 to keep the tires inflated properly due to the "softness" of the continental rubbers which gave me excellent highway stability and handling. Don't inflate it to 33-35, its too low and soft and leads to poor handling and tramlining. Since the max inflation PSI for the contis where 50, it was fine keeping it at 40 psi. No ride harshness at all.

Everyone, check out the new michelin primacy MXV4 for the 18 inch rims. I have them now. and they are by far excellent with a 65,000 mile warranty. I had the Pilot Sport A/s and they wore out fast and had vibration issues.

that's rare.
oh wait. the contis have a 40k to 60k warranty too, depending on speed rating
