A great design should age well and the GS has done just that. I think only the previous e class has aged as well in this class and it debuted earlier.

I've liked the GS since it was first debuted. To me, it's kept getting better and I would hope that it continues that trend. Like a lot of 3GS owners who are new to this model, I hope it's 2012 or 2013 before the next gen comes out.
I like the touch screen nav...so don't mess with that Lexus!

I loved my 2g gs. Planned on getting a 3g but was very disappointed.
My head hit the ceiling and shoulder hit the window. Not to mention couldn't fit a medium szed box through the trunk opening.
I think looking at sales for the 3g it has been kind of a dog for lexus.
Hoping for better on the 4g.

I didn't like the look of the 2GS. It wasn't clean, and actually looked a little like the European market Corolla. At the time I'd have bought a BMW or a Benz which had much better design.
The 3GS like the 1GS is a stunning car. The design is clean, bold and sporty. When it was launched it was by far better looking than the Benz, BMW, Audi or Infiniti offerings.
I hope the 4GS is also a stunning car, and does not regress to quirky, frankensteinian Japanese copycat design.

As I mentioned in another thread, strong signs abound that new GS sheet metal will come within the next 12 months (i.e. new sport suspension option for GS, new M coming this April, new RL coming January 2011).

I'm still split 50\50 on the 3GS. Going to see how my AWD 350 performs this winter to make a decision to either to hold it for the next 4-5 years or trade it in. I'm personally not impressed with all the minor rattles in the dash (At the dealer again to get resolved), comfort of the seats and the little things like lights going bad, noise from brakes and stuck mirrors. I had my GS400 for 6 years and never had problems like this right after purchase. I must admit though the exterior\interior design of the 3GS simply trumps all other gens so I hope Lexus pulls another one off for 4th Gen.

Actually you do liked the 1GS, but just in denial!!!
If you looked closey, designers of GS model have the tendency of leaving design clues from previous generation to the next. 2GS followed 1GS' clues and 3GS combined both!!!
If you looked closey, 3GS' overall exterior design has clues of the 1GS all over... shape of the headlights, taillamps, overall shape, and specially its trunk space for sure is from 1GS... what trunk space!!!

Any of you think this will be the last GS?
There is little to no advertising for the GS. The car itself is disapointing (to me anyway - all the rattles drive me insane). It seems like the GS is not a priority at all to Lexus. Even when I go to the dealership he tells me the GS has the most problems.
