it has to be the run-flats. i recently put 20" rims on my car with low-profile tires and expected a harsher ride than i had before with the run-flats. believe it or not, the 20's are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay smoother. it was unbelievable. once the 20's come off for winter the run-flats will be coming off the stock 17's.

I know that the 2008 GS350 AWD came with 17" non-run-flat summer tires (Dunlop SP2050 in 225/50R17), at least here in Ontario where the OP is located. (OP: Why does your "Location" say "NY"?)

If you wanted it to be smoother like your Camry, wouldn't you have gone with the ES350 instead?

My location is Ontario and the car is a 2009 and the tires say Dunlop Sport.

I initially looked at the ES350 at first but I decided to pony up for the GS as I liked the look of it more as the ES350 was a bit too plain. All is well with the car thus far as I am still getting used to it.
