Unhappy Squeaking/Creeking Sounds from back

Someone help me out here,

I started noticing that sometimes when I drive, there's some kind of annoying sound coming from the back. I can't say exactly where it is, and it's not consistent. Some days it's there, some days it's not. I notice it happens slightly more often after I have my sunshade up, but that's not always the case either.

I'm thinking about bringing it to Lexus, but I'm pretty sure the day I take it is one of the days it's running without any sounds from the back.

Anyone had this problem? Helppp!

What did u do to fix it? Did you bring it to Lexus or just stop using the shade? I feel like its happened on occasion even when I haven't used the sunshade but I'm not totally sure of that. (I'm going to test over the next few days to see)

I did absolutely nothing. I would just play my tunes louder.

Same problem. I think it might be the moonroof rubber rubbing.

oh yeah. i had the rear window creak on my old car. it would come and go, but it happened more often at night when the temps were cooler, and the roads were rougher.

maybe you can try that.

I think its just removing those window clips they use in production, just like the one they use in the windshield. Honestly, you would think Lexus have found some clips that dont cause rattles by now.

Mine seems to be happening more often in the day time, when I drive the in the mornings/night its not there, but during the day it seems to be there. Is it the warmer temperatures? I have no idea.

I don't think it's this. The sound is definitely coming from the back of the car.

Alrite stupid question since I'm new to the whole Lexus thing...

When I set up my service appt, do I specifically state I want the rear window TSB done on my car? Or do I have to state the problem (noise from the back) and they have to figure out on their own to do the rear window TSB?

Other people... have you had this done to your car? Did it work?

no. you won't get more rattles for the rear window

all they do is shave the clips holding the glass. it only takes them 15 minutes

i have the sunroof rattle and a rattle that seems to come from the rear right door. That 2nd noise may actually just be the sunroof. I notice it akes a rattling noise when the road gets bumpy. My car is lowered and on low profile tires so I know that doesnt help, but it still shouldn't rattle. I will have them take a look at it on the next visit.

15 mins and then no more sounds from the back? Really???

Now I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping that this IS the problem and it's not something else and this is misdiagnosed

i hear the same rattle from somewhere in the back near the speakers or the rear windshield. i do not have a rear sunshade on my 06 gs 300. i notice it rattles when the temp is 70 or above on my car. im going to have to bring it in on one of those days and check it out. it is annoying having family in the back seat listening to that.
