Thanks tune!

Ya I was really reluctant to drop my car as well, but after reading many posts on the NF210's it seems like a really good thing to do. They are only 5% stiffer than stock suspension and I have heard zero complaints about the ride quality with the springs.

The drop I did on my ES was pretty aggressive and I also replaced the struts with some aftermarket brand. I think that is why I had such a bad ride in my ES when it came to any little bump in the road.

I'll keep my fingers crossed and let you know how the NF's work out.

i've had no problems with my low profile tires...i guess it all depends on how good or bad your roads are.

I think when I do the drop, I will however get the rear fenders rolled. It is inexpensive and they also told me that they can roll them so that they align more with the rear wheel. Since I have a 10.5 rear wheel it is poking out a little bit right now and a rolled fender will actually fix that. To top if off its really cheap to do.

I'll keep you guys updated!!
just 2 things

1) it's a much much better idea to shave the rear fenders. rolling is not a good idea on lexus at all coz' of the fender design.

2) there is no camber adjustment on the gs at all, so shaving the fender won't really help them to align more. best they can do is to adjust the toe to compensate inside wear

Hey Nixsun,
Light's look good. Thanks for the constant update it's been very helpful to me also as you know I'm in the upgrading stage. The wheels came in today just waiting on the tires, should be in tomorrow. I will also be running 245/35 and will probably have to do the heat gun method to take care of any rubbing. Can't wait to see your car dropped. Have you ordered your Tanabe springs?
I think before I go with the drop I'm going to upgrade the exhaust to the Tanage Medallion exhaust. This will give the car a little growl.
Anyway have a good evening

Thanks for the help guys.
yes, it is a decent amount too, i wanna say it was gunna be close to $300 more for the same set up. i am running 245/35 and 285/30 falken fk452, i rub in the rear on really big dips, but nothing up front yet. or nothing that i have heard at least, ill get out there and check one of these days.

i am not surprised. 245/30 and 285/25 are not as common so they usually cost more

Can't wait to see some pics! The exhaust sounds awesome. I did order the Tanabe NF210 springs. I probably won't get them installed for another couple of weeks though. I have to drive the old ES up to my friends shop and have an o2 sensor replaced to make the check engine light go away so I can sell the car. I wish his shop wasnt so far away. After that then I will shoot up and he will put the springs on for me. I should have it lowered sometime mid to late June.

I thought I heard a rub in the rear yesterday with a passenger in the back seat and some groceries in the trunk. I looked around and didnt see anything that looked like it was rubbing. I'm not overly concerned with it because I will roll/shave the rear fenders after the drop anyway.

I don't think you will see a rub in the front because you have an 8.5 wheel. Mine is a 9.5 and it was just barely touching so you should be good.
