Default Lexus Ipod Kit, worth it or not? Lexus sport pedals?

Me again... as some of you know, I'm picking up my GS350 AWD next week (Obsidian with PB interior)... and I'm considering getting the Ipod kit installed since I have an iPhone 3g. Does anyone have it? Is it worth it or not? Can't seem to find much information on the net about this, or any samples on how it works.

Also, I wanted to get Lexus sport pedals from the dealer, but they only have them for the IS. THey even checked directly in Lexus Japan, and they are not yet available. Does anyone have them aftermarket? If so, where can I get them and how hard are they to install?

I know I have allot of questions.. it's just that I am new here, find this forum AMAZINGLY helpfull, and am so excited to get my new car very soon... toys for grown-ups, what else can I say!!

With Vaistech, do you still need the ML system to be able to get video from your iPod?

Ok thanks. Any specific model of the Vaistech is more recommended? How hard is it to install, something I could do myself??

you should check their application guide and see which one is best for you, they have a lot of variety, no one can say which one is the "best"

installation isn't bad at all, there is a diy on how to gain access to back of radio
