Volk doesnt offer this I just recently found out and more common with jdm wheels as you mentioned. You have to use hub rings with their rims but much easier to sell them like that. Work is the first set of rims I have not had to use hub rings. But I never had any problems in the past with other make wheels and hub rings.

Both my sets where made for Lexus hubs 60.1. Down fall is they are only good for a few makes so may be harder to sell down the road.
oh really, wow big props to work! FINALLY after all these yrs they are making hub centric wheels. this is great news!!!!!! great info mike, appreciate it!

about the hub, yeah, 60.06 and 60.1 doesn't really make that much difference. 0.04mm that is!

thx for the confirmation mike! yeah, my sc2 are hubcentric, and i too ordered my wheels directly from japan. no hub rings for me either. which was why when i saw the hub rings, it threw me off and confused me!

So, is there any way I can check if I need to use the included hub rings? I also ordered my wheels from japan.

^ the boxes should say. Mine had all the info on the outside of the box, it showed the offset, rim size, ect...check the box or maybe look at the order to confirm. If they knew it was for Lexus then you shouldnt need them.

should be pretty easy, try and fit one on the back side of the wheel. that will tell you if your bore is 73mm or actually 60.1mm.

if you dont need them, let me know

When you ordered your wheels, they should have asked what car it goes on.

I really think you should put the hub rings on, then send me your wheels....

Pics are coming guys, just need to install everything first

Yup, they knew its for a GS. Its even says on the box, "GS430/350 only for the use of Lexus with tire pressure sensors". I'm just not sure why the hub rings were included?

Anyways, even if I dont put the hub rings, what's the worst that could happen? Vibrations ?

just test fit them real quick and it will tell you if they are hubcentric already. the wheels arnet on your car so flip a wheel over and try to put a hub ring in on the back side. if it fits then the wheels are not hubcentric.

problems for not using them are mainly vibrations while driving. also it puts all the weight on your studs as opposed to your hub. having the weight on your studs can possibly shear off your studs. its rare but it does happen.

you should confirm with the vendor that you dealt with whether or not the hub rings are needed. they would know for sure.
