Hey guys
Is it worth doing the map DVD upgrade from 7.1 to 8.1. Is the only difference just more current road & route info ? POI's ?
Thanks in advance

I think its only worth it in places like Phoenix where neighborhoods go up in a matter of months. Even my car when t was brand new didnt have some of the newer streets in the newer parts of town. It is what it is. I hardly use my Nav

I just upgraded to 8.1 and found two major road updates on my 5 mile ride to work, but one 2yr old intersection is still not updated.
So looks like it will be hit and miss.
The good part of the new disc is you don't have to say "I Agree" anymore, but the bad part is the "override" menu is not available.

How much does it cost to upgrade? I received a card from Lexus concerning the upgrade but misplaced it.
Hardly use it though as I find my Garmin 265WT easier to use for less than $200.. with live traffic. Can use it in other cars too.
