38 is a good safe offset, that's fine. You won't have headaches after lowering if you get the 245-30 series tires. With this tire size you will also be able to ride people in the back seat. Trust me. But it doesn't sound like you really wanted to lower it anyway. Not now. Since you thought about it, you will one day. No rush.

On another note...some of you guys should not be giving advice. It's not correct which leads people the wrong way. I'm not going to point at any particular person so don't try to bait me....just uttering my .02 cents. I still have love for ya.

why do you have to change the tires? plently of people are running 245/35/20 and dont have a problem. i dont think you are dropping your car low enough to worry about rubbing and if you do, its a very simple fix. just roll the fenders or remove/heat the inner lining.

I have my AWD lowered on NF210's and my tires are 245/35/20, not staggered either, I have absolutely no rubbing and I have taken long trips with 3 people in the back as well. The only time I ever get rubbing is if I'm in reverse and cut the wheel all the way. You will be fine with the drop and should not rub at all. I would do it. I drove around a whole year on 20's at stock height and now with the drop, I am thrilled. I'll find a pic to post for you..

yes, please post pics. i am currently deciding on whether to go with springs such as the NF, or with the new bc coilovers that are coming out for the AWD. i have about a month to wait until my wheels get in, so i would like to see all available options before i make a suspension decision. thanks to all; CL has been a great source of info. wish i had seen this site before i purchased.

I have already searched and learned a lot but couldn't find any pics and couldn't get a straight answer to why they don't or won't rub. All I heard was do your search, they just won't, trust me they won't. That doesn't really cut.

Confused Lady.
Main thing to look for is the offset. +38 should be ok. I am running 20" staggered wheels, 20x8.5 with 245/35/20 tires in front and 20x9.5 with 275/30/20 tires in back and offset is close to factory with lowered suspension and I have had a full load in the car with no scrubbing. If my offset were more aggressive, it would be a problem.

Wow I go to work and come back and lots of responses already!! Awww. I see what all of you mean. I have few questions:
1- I have the same issue, I hear it rub when I go in reverse, from the back tires. The front as you said also rubs only when you turn all the way, but that is lessening as the plastic is molding to the shape.
2-Does installing the NF210 require a specialty? I have few people who can do it if it isn't complicated. Is it a matter of R & R of springs? How do these springs just lower the vehicle while keeping right and not makng it rub? I mean practically. Are they curved or just shorter?
3- Should $500 be decent for the NF210's installed?
