Default Wind Noise?

Any of you guys notice that when you open the windows and drive over 100 km the noise is really loud and you can't hear your radio? Is there any solution to this or is that how the car is. Btw my model is a 2009 GS 350 AWD.

aerodynamic wise and gas saving wise, you shouldnt have ur windows down.
but if i tend to open my windows going about 80mph, i open the rear windows too or even the sunroof cause the air that comes in has to come out and wind coming in and out one window is gonna cause a lot of noise.

I drive with my windows and sunroof open when the weather is nice, but I dont expect to hear the music perfectly. I thought you were talking about a real wind noise issue

Are you talking about the bass wind noise, the "whomp, whomp, whomp, whomp..."?

If so, try to put your sunroof up it should help balance the pressure and stop the noise.

I really hope that is what you mean, lol, because there will be loud wind noise when going fast and there is no way to stop that.

If you think that is noisy, try driving at 100 km/h with the driver's door wide open...

To keep down the wind noise at high speed, you need more down draft when you are going that fast, I recommand leaving the trunk door open on the highway.

It's funny, the way this is worded.. but let's not discourage the newbies, we all have made posts we would like to retract, in hindsight.

But in the spirit of hazing:

Problem: When I put my foot on the brake pedal and press the start button, the car rumbles and starts making all kinds of beeping and groaning noises.

Solution: Leave your key in the house and sit in your vehicle while parked. Voila - no noise!
