dmjay, how does the tanabe sound during normal driving and then when you gun the engine? During normal city driving or cruising on the highway can you hear the exhaust?

when your light on the pedal, you can barely hear it. And of course when you smash on it...it just roars. As far as hearing the exhaust..i hear it during city driving and highway driving. If your in the orange county area..ill be more then happy to meet with you so you can hear first hand for yourself.

The system is mildly throaty and is very quiet for an aftermarket system. It will drone mildly on long uphill inclines, but for normal everyday driving its a quiet system that at least livens the car up from its almost electric car engine note with the stock system

F-Sport parts are the only parts that can compliment your factory Lexus warranty, granted it was installed on the car at the port, at the dealer prior to your purchase, or installed at an authorized Lexus service dept. Sure the parts maybe more expensive than the other alternatives, but these parts are designed strictly for Lexus by TRD USA. If I still had my 3GS, I would have gave up the aftermarket intake and exhaust I had for the F-Sport. This is great considering these are parts backed, endorsed and tested extensively by Lexus. You know Lexus wont just put any kind of parts on their cars. F-Sport parts are created with a high standard. Sure they're not extreme performance parts, but I would recommend it for a daily driven car.

^^ That warranty only applies to the US so far. In Canada, F-Sport accessories come with one year part only warranty. I guess it will be similar worldwide (if it is even offered at all).

So even if I get the F-Sport parts and install them myself, I'd be SOL as far as warranty goes eh?

That or if I install the RWD springs on the AWD...

that is correct, if you installed the f-sport parts yourself, you would only get the 1 year warranty on parts. to retain your US comprehensive factory warranty, you need lexus to install your f-sport parts.

at least you guys get to retain your factory warranty if you add f-sport parts. we don't get that option up in canada.

Correct, you will only have warranty on the parts alone. As for installing RWD springs on your AWD, Lexus will not install it on your car nor will they honor the warranty since it's not designed for your specific Lexus model.
