I guess the GS does look like the Genesis ( to some)
I wanted to share a funny experience. I was out to lunch a few days ago. After I finished I was sitting outside on a bench while a friend finished her cigarette. The lot was directly in front of the place and was totally empty other than my 3GS and a Hyundai Genesis. Shortly after sitting a group of 4 women in their 40 and 50's came out of the restraunt chatting and laughing. They were the people in the Genesis. Anyway, they all ended walking right passed the Genesis and up to my Lexus and all tried pulling on my door handles trying to open the car. The lady kept pressing the remote for the genesis and wondering why my car wasn't opening. I let it go on for a couple of seconds for a laugh then I pointed out to the lady that she was at the wrong car. The lady and her friends all laughed it off, but I think it says something about the design of the Genesis. In the end Hyundai did exactly what they set out to do. ....... To give you a lexus at a hyundai price.

I think you mean the GEensis looks like the GS
The Genesis amazingly uses a lot of styling cues from different brands but pulls it off. It does look luxurious and not ugly, if being unremarkable.
A black one parked next to me at Barnes and Nobles and it looked similar. It was easy to tell the Genesis was a size bigger than the GS.
Why do cars have to get so big?

I don't think they look similar except for the fact that they share the same luxury 4 door sedan look. It's probably a case of the owner being clueless about their own car and the "sheep effect" (everyone else following the owner).
I'm surprised she didn't rip the door handle off try to open it...clueless+stubborn=bad combination.

why do cars have to be so big? Right now all I use the lexus for is to go twice a month from shreveport to dallas to haul computers back so the silver car of mine doesn't break down. the bigger it is the more computers you can put in that thing.

Na...I think that would be most MEN leave drunk. Quit bashing women.
I have been known to outshift most men in my day. When I was younger, my dad taught me everything there was to know about muscle cars. My dad dropped a bolt down the carb one day, he ran out to the store for a little bit, by the time he came back, I had his Corvette engine apart and found his bolt that split his piston.
There are some women who know cars. I know more men that are drunks...
