Question What Color to Paint My Stock 18" 5 Spokers???

Well... Basically I was kind of out of it driving home after work and hit a curb... Instead of just hopping over the curb like I usually do, I scraped it and now the passenger rear wheel has a nasty curb rash on it. Talked to a wheel guy and I started thinking about painting all four of them a different color. I believe the ones I got are hypersilver. My 3GS is glacier frost mica and I've always liked the gun metal color but not sure how it would go with it. (hint hint photoshop god dunnojack if you're reading this ) What other colors would you guys suggest??? Thanks!

Thanks for letting me borrow the image without asking for permission there slk_dds

Since your car is white I think you would be best served to leave the wheels as they are. If it was darker, you could go with a darker rim but I am not one of those people who likes dark rims on light cars.

Also, if you are trying to find the best way to fix the wheel for the least $$, then just fixing it, or even replacing it, will still be cheaper than painting all four.

Good luck.

Thanks! The phone estimate was $150 to fix one or $500 to fix that one and to paint all four whatever color I choose. I figured $350 to change the look ain't that bad. I really like the stock 5 spokers so I don't think I'll change the rim or go bigger due to the winters here.

I don't blame you...I love those wheels. I have been trying to get my hands on a good set for months!

i actually like the gunmetal wheels on any colored cars if it's done right..

for me, i get to have gun metal wheels every week or so, thx to my overwhelmingly dusty brake pads. just gotta do something about my rear wheels though.. maybe.. just maybe i should powder coat my rear wheels so that it would match the color..

Good point! Maybe that's where I've seen gunmetal 5 spokers on a GFM back in the days when I had the dusty brake pads!

gunmetal would look forever dirty, unless it's a metallic finish.

#1 color is hot pink.

#2 = GFM color match

#3= stock color, in case you're gonna sell them in the future.
