chrome doesnt fade atfer a few years and potholes wont get you if you learn to avoid them and simply keep your tire pressure in the low to mid forties

well said, I had my previous set of chromes for 6 years and they looked new the day I sold them. They had minor wear but no fading.

Lexus OEM chrome is done very well. They can take a beating.

After getting 2 rims damaged and the pain of getting vibrations and bad low profile tires on bigger rims, I am glad I revert back and stayed with the 18 inch 5 spoke GS rim. Gives me great peace of mind and looks great on this car. I am happy to be riding stock.
