I am wondering if in the future I may just do the intake and get rid of the exhaust. It might be cool to have both, but I dont want another freakn G35

Just received my F-Sport intake for my '08 GS350, but came to my surprise that it did not come with the lower replacement air intake box. This is a standard part for the IS model F-Sport intake. The difference between the replacement box is that it comes with two air ports rather than one found on the original air intake box. It is because of this replacement box that the GS F-Sport air intake lacks that "throaty" sound. Does anyone know if this correct that the GS F-Sport intake does not come with the bottom replacement air intake box?

Are these things really worth it? Is there a real increase? I've heard many say they are a waste of time and moiney.

Yep. 3% as written at lexus.com!

I feel the difference! Of course all of our feelings are subjective. I just said my opinion. Almost no throttle sound increase.

F-Sport better than K&N dropin filter cuz F-Sport doesn't have any oil in filter.
K&N has oil. It's not good for MAF Sensor.

I have the F sport intake as well. I tried to pay close attention before and after, and I thought I felt some difference in power and sound.

I ordered the intake from sewell Lexus online (one of the vendors here) using the clublexus discount - price $275. Dealer charged me $125 to install. Warranty on the part lasts until the warranty on the car runs out, if Lexus installs.

So with this intake and an exhaust, there could be significant gain!
Might be worth a try.
