no....things get weaker over time... most likely you need to replace the bulbs... there's a thread with people with good reviews about the garax bulbs

I am currently running the PIAA 5500K and the out put is great. But I think the OEM one will work just fine as well.

I noticed that first time i sat in the GS. The projectors actually is little loose because of the AFS system so the mounting is not strong enough and it just elil. That kinda irritated me but i got used to it. There is absolutley nothing u can do to change this.

dont waste money on bulbs . If you want better headlights have the dealership aim the a bit higher for you. I had the same issue in the beginning and couldn't stand it. They raised them and then lowered them a bit because my headlights were lighting up overpass signs. Let the dealership handle it. The headlights on the car are set even lower on the drivers side to avoid blinding the drivers going the opposite way. BS imo. I want/need to see where the hell I am going

HID bulbs gets dimmer over time, here is the chart on brightness vs time on a Philips bulb:

100% at 0 hours
90% ar 200 hours
80% at 1000 hours
75% at 1500 hours
70% at 2000 hours

Ballast with the same wattage will not make your bulb brighter.

it's not the ballast that's deteriorating.. it's the bulbs

The ballast just fires up the bulb and then send constant power to it afterward. The power send to the bulb by the ballast will not deteriorate over time.
