Upgraded both my lights from our vendor hidextra.com. Shipped in 2 days and couldn't be happier with the output. 3000K HID kit is nice and golden yellow!

I actually didn't hear anyone say anything about 6000k and 3000k.

Aha I think you mean my parking lights. I'm using V-Leds 13 LED light bulbs.

 

how much does those lights cost? also how much do they cost to install and finally what do the stock ones come with? 4000K and 2000K or what is the difference?

 

stock HID's at 4300k
fogs are prob 3500-4000

 

so if the fogs are 3000K on his car he downgraded?

 

3000k, referring to the color of light. wouldn't really say its a downgrade

 

yellow is probably the most useful color in actual fog.. so it's actually an upgrade..

 

the lower you go in kelvin (k) the more output it has.

I think I disagree with that. I might not know what I am talking about but I think the higher the K number the brighter the thing is. atleast when you go walmart and get the lights anyone agree or what this this?

 

It's a very common misconception to think that but no. The higher the K number the brighter it burns towards the blue and purple range of the spectrum. These not only have a decreased output of lumens but also cause more strain on the eyes. The higher the kelvins, the less output.
