I agree. This should help out with future owners. Anyone have a membership to the tech info site? That should show if there are any part number variances.

on the otherhand, sway bars are purely oem replacement in every sense of the word. it will not take your dealer 5 days to install, guaranteed.
you are right...I should probably cut the dealership some slack. i did have a loaner the entire time and they did an excellent job installing them.

where are the sway bars located....underneath? I'm used to driving FWD cars and I always remember seeing the front sway bar underneath the hood. what will they have to disconnect to get to the sway bars?

yup, sways are underneath (part of suspension). haven't looked underneath yet, but it should only be a couple of bolts and screws at the most?

I think they did my sway bars in an hour front and rear but still charged me the original price they discussed with me. I dont care because the price they quoted me was cheaper than the $424 suggested price for install of the sway bars, and I got a loaner and got in on the same afternoon that I picked the parts up. Lexus has never failed to amaze me

The more I drive the car the more I realize how much more light footed the car feels in transitions and through the occasional blast onto an on-ramp. I have traffic circles in my neighborhood and the car feels so planted . I used to just tell myself as the car wallowed and leaned that it was a luxury car and thats just the way it is. But now I feel like I am driving a car with a fun factor that is considerably higher than the stock set up.

good news GS430 owners Darrel has stepped up and agreed. I placed my order today and will post back.

I will get pics up in the air even if they won't fit. Thumbs up to a great vendor!

Wow... this looks like it might be worth it!

Anyone think this could be a DIY? There are install instructions on Sewell's site:

Are the stock sways on the 460 the same as on the 350? I am wondering if I will see the same improvement?

Also does the install require removal of the bumper? I don't trust my Lexus dealer to remove the bumper without messing up the front laser jammers.

there was a really long thread before on debating whether the sways will fit on gs460. first of all, your car doesn't have apsss right? if so, then the sways for sure won't work (or help) on your car

to install, you shouldn't have to remove bumpers at all. you just remove panels underneath and go from there

personally, for cars without apsss, i think the sways should fit. but officially, there are no words on the sways for gs460
