Smoky Topaz exteror, lighter interior. Have 15% all around, transformed the look of my GS300 AWD 2006. I highly recommend it. Visibility is still excellent during the day. Not too great at night, but that's why I have parking sensors ;p

I got 35% all around, wow, completely changed the way the car looks. More aggressive now. With my black interior it looks darker but not too dark. Very satisfied.

Summer now. Need to get car tinted. Car is parked out in the sun all day. Should I get the same % tint all round the car or lighter in front and darker in back

Depends on whether or not you want to get pulled over. I don't like getting pulled over, so I went legal. I could have paid the same amount, but they would not have given me a lifetime warranty or paperwork. 30% front, 5 percent on the rear, with a 5% eyebrow. Keeps the car much, MUCH cooler in summer (a necessity out here in AZ), and makes my butt not burn on the leather.

As for the OP, same dilly. Go with legal. Especially if you have any other modifications that draw attention. If you drive with the windows down all the time, though, both of you would probably be okay. I never do, so I went legal.

Oh, and dunnojack is right on. Pickin boogers is reason alone to get tinted winders. That or if you regularly get road action.

OP.

Have the same color but not able to post pics. Go to the chicago region and look at the thread that says Mikes Sick....

Its my car all clean a few weeks back. I have 35% all around and 20% on the windshield only 6 inches down.

Hope this helps

I personally like driving my cars without tints but if you must have tints get whats legal in your state all around. If you live in an area where the cops do not bother you then you can go darker.
