Question Carbon Fiber and 3GS? Your thoughts....

Done right I like exposed CF on some luxury rides. Sometimes though I am not a fan. I do like the functionality of CF except most of the stuff sold really doesn't lower weight or add any significant benefits.

I haven't seen too much CF done on a 3GS thus far.....what are your thoughts?

i say........ make it look ridiculous by putting on CF hood, trunk, mirrors, roof, doors.

there's nothing hotter than mixing regular paint with CF. catch my drift?

i know what you're thinking! imho, carbon fiber is really tricky to use on the GS. it will either look great or really tacky (i don't think there is a middle ground on this)

I like the F sport interior accent of CF on the shift **** they make. Even with the wood it still looks cool. I like it because my car is blue so the stitching looks more appropriate

Dunnojack, whoever has cf doors should drive very carefully, hehheheh..

To answer the question, I do like CF as accent pieces. There is really no function for cf on these kind of cars. I would add pieces on b/c I like the look/color, not b/c I want my car lighter so I can hit the drag strip.

as promised, here's the CF spoiler for the R8. looking at it again, it's nicely done. but for the GS, you'll have to extrapolate on how this will look if you add CF to the rear lip spoiler. not sure if it will work tho....

CF will only look acceptable if it's shiny, and on a black car
