I have a NAVI/TV kit on my '08 GS350 and no, I did not buy it from Prestigious Society. They wanted $350 in April, so I bought one on ebay for $270 shipped directly from Japan. It is identical to what the PS sells. I am still very happy with my override kit. It does have about 30 seconds time limit in the navigation mode. Interestingly enough, the limit does not apply to the phone or audio mode.

I did some search on this board and it looks like the PS units do not have the limit. I doubt they actually changed something in the software, it has to be something simple, probably in the installation. However, from what I undestand, this is the second most closely quarded secret in the world, after the North Korean nuclear program.

So, does anybody, who does not have the limit, know how to de-activate it?

To me the secret is still not worth extra $80, even if I have to live with the limit for the rest of my life, since I use the override maybe once a month. I'll just cry myself to sleep every night.
