What ever the reason Im sure glad they did.. for a delta of 10K for 58hp and an enhanced Navi the value is what attracted me to the GS300. A lot of car for 26k realitive to what I paid for my SC430.

I have a GS300 since 06 and to be honest. Yes the GS350 is a better car but if I were to trade in my car. I wouldn't go with another GS I would move up to an LS460. I went from:
91 LS400 sold
01 IS300 sold
06 GS300 current

hehe depends on what he wants. in terms of driving feel the ls460 won't be a good idea

I paid 26k and the closest 350 I could find ML and CPO was 35K.

where are you all coming up with a couple or a few thousand difference? Maybe in other parts of the country?
Can't speak for CPO, but when I was searching for my 3GS year and a half ago, I was looking at around 30k for a Non-ML GS300 with Nav, and 32k for one with ML. I sure was glad to end up finding my GS350 at 36k out the door (granted it's non-ML).
