Nothing over the top. TSW Nuriburgring. 19x8 all around. +35mm offset. Wrap in 245\40\19. I just need to lower the car now. I'll get some better pictures. Dallas has been raining nonstop and a mini mudslide has made the driveway at my apartment impossible to drive in.
It finally stops raining and the apt complex cleaned up the mini mudslide.

As you already know, I like how your car looks with this setup.
Well, it's time for new tires/wheels for my GS350 and your choice on the 245/40/19 filled in the wheel cavity to my liking without having to modify the car in any way.
I was wondering if you have experienced any rubbing issues at all with this setup?
I haven't yet pinned down a specific wheel set just yet, but some that I did rather like in the 19s happen to be 8.5 wide with either a +30mm, or a + 45mm offset. Not sure how much this would differ from what you have in the way of rubbing issues or if it would cause rubbing issues at all with the 245/40/19?
Any thoughts using the wider wheel and different offset combination with the 245/40/19 tire?
Would hate to make a purchase and find out later there are rubbing issues.
Thanks for any suggestions.

I have 235/40/19 all around. Not sure about the offset. Just had the shop put them on. But it does rub barely when I turn the front wheels all the way left or right. Its honestly not even that noticeable. It hits the plastic and that's it. So maybe the 245 would rub more. But the 235/40/19 does rub even if very minor. And at stock height on the AWD version. When I change the rear tires I'm planning to put the 245/40/19 on the rear.
When you say it rubs the plastic on a hard left, or right, is it the front side plastic inner wheel well, or the backside of the front inner wheel well?
It might be the offset of your front wheels causing it to rub. The reason I say this is because the 235/40/19 tire mounted on an 8.5 wide wheel with a 45mm offset is specified as an optional size for the GS350.
If you would, please post the offset of your front wheels, it would be helpful in making a determination on the rubbing issue

I try to stay close to the factory width of the 18". I think the set I have on are +32mm. They rub the back part of the fender liner when I turn the wheel all the way or when I hit a bump that I didn't see at full speed. The speedo is off by 1mph. It'll read faster. I should have gone with 245/35/19 or 235/40/19
MX73,
I wonder if both you and “Buddy3390” tires are rubbing do to an incorrect offset.
In researching this dilemma for my car, I have noticed all tire and wheel combinations for this vehicle seem to be pointing at a +45mm offset.
I liked the idea of filling in the wheel cavity a little with the 19s, but if the 245/40/19 rubs, then going to the 245/35/19 opens up the wheel cavity again. Not sure the 235/40/19 will solve the rubbing problem.
Hope “Buddy3390” chimes in at some point with his wheel offset, knowing that I think will then identify what will possibly work without rubbing.

I still believe the tire ratio is the issue. At a dead stop, I can turn the wheels all the way left or right and it doesn't rub anything. There is about a few mm gap in between the tire and the liner when turning. Adding suspension travels and other factors, that gaps closes to pretty much nothing.

WOW. All these aftermarket wheels, suspension mods, window tint, etc. puts my stock 2010 GS 350 AWD to shame. All of these photos look great! I wish mine had lower miles and was the pearl white.... I would consider doing the same.
