nice rides everyone , i will like to kno if i would need to get a new set of tpms if i decide to get aftermarket rims for my 2006 gs300 awd , i cant stand any light being on in my dash
,
thanks and God bless America
You dont have to but you can get 4 of them for ~ $125 to your door. Your dealer may charge to program them, mine never has. Save yourself the money today so you dont have to keep paying to swap from one set of rims to the next. Also when your done slap the OEM rims back on and your good to go
these look very natural on a gs,this is what im looking for,has anyone ever seen a 20 done with a 40 series tire on stock suspension,im looking for the best ride,no stretched band aid tires, just a little lip to spice it up a bit
40 series tires? that's with with around 245? the overall diameter is going to be good 2" larger than factory spec. not sure if that's a good idea especially when you turn
keep in mind im not talking about lowering the car,id like to use the taller softer riding tires to close the gap for a luxury feel,I have a few supras for performance driving. Idont need performance out of gs but I do like the butter smooth stock ride.Possibly 19s with 40s? Id guess you could do 225 or 235 for fronts as well
I like this look a lot better than the gunmetal grey, and think it'll look good on my Black GS. For those of you that wonder why these specifically, and no aftermarket rims - I'm just trying to keep it as "Lexus" as possible
When I called the dealerships around here looking for pricing, they told me that they weren't available yet, even though the website shows them.
Thanks...
THanks for posting. I knew they were available for the IS but wasn't aware they were for the GS as well.
Yeah..... looks like these are out. I don't think I like that center cap anyway. I have some bread to spend just initially thought these might get me by....NOT!
i know im gonna get crap for saying this, but im running a 255 30 20 on a 10.5 with an aggressive offset of 27... the strescted look looks real good... VIP style baby!!! lol
Im getting tsw snetterton. Would it be ok to run 255/35/20 for a 10 inch rear rim? Someone please help
255 will be stretched on 10, it's doable, but make sure you are ok with the look. the profile makes it a little tall though, but with the stretching it might be ok.
