hahaha safe? stretch is hard to be associated with safe. if you look up the tire spec, it usually gives you a range of widths that it works with. i don't think for 245/35 you will find 10.5. so it's really up to you to see how you want to do it and how much you would sacrifice (from safety to the ride to fitment, etc...)

It boils down to a general lack of understanding. A good portion of people dont understand that if you multiply the 2nd set of #'s (aspect ratio) by the tire width you'll get the sidewall width.

ex. 275-30-20 tires would have an 82.5mm sidewall (275mm x 30% = 82.5mm)
and 245-35-20 tires would have an 85.75mm sidewall (245mm x 35% - 85.75mm)

I believe the rear is a +45 with a 15mm spacer and the front i think is a +32. With spacers Im +17 front and +29 rear and have my fenders shaved I don t think I can go anymore aggressive without pulling my fenders which I really do not want to do
I enjoy the shape the body already has.

Some quick camera phone shots of the car this weekend. Actually had nice weather to get the thing washed and take it out for a drive.

08 AWD dropped with Megan EZ coils and Vossen 082's
Front - 20x9 +38 with 245/30/20
Rear 20x10.5 +45 with 285/25/20

^I would, but this is a daily driven car. The AWD wobbles got me wanting to put them up. Not to mention I haven't completed my camber correction work. If a solution for the wobbles is found, I would be down to dump it more... trust me.
