I plan on getting either some 19's or 20's in the near future and don't want to have to deal with rolling fenders. What are the best offsets to get to eliminate this? I may get staggered wheels but i am not sure yet. Also I will be dropping the car on tein s tech springs. Thanks for the input.
Ok so on the AWD GS350's, running Vossen staggered 20's, the correct tire setup is
245/30/20 & 285/25/20 ???? the tire calculator has this near perfect
any rubbing issues???
If you plan on lowering then, probaly.
Sorry to threadjack here (just trying to help this member out), keep in mind offsets and brand of tire will make a difference to because some brands have a wider shoulder than others. But, the tires you have listed are to spec.
Vredestine sessanta tires have one of if not the most rounded sidewalls that help with fender clearance. My Vossen wheels are 20x9+32 and 20x10.5+39 and may need slight fender mods in the rear they also make a +45 that is more conservative but shouldn t need any fender mods
I just have the camber kit for the rear. It's the same as the ones on the IS250's and up. I heard people using modified IS verisions for the fronts.
Why? Both my cars get 30-40K on the rear. It's the front that burns up fast.
Instead of modifying kits made for other cars, I think I'll get coilovers with pillow ball mounts. That worked on my old SC.
