Quick wheel question for anyone that can help... I'm looking at a set of staggers 20" vertini fairladys 20x8.5 front w et35 and 20x10 rear.. My question is should I do 45 offset in the rear or go w 35 like the front? What will the differences between the 2 offsets w the rear? I plan to run 245/30s in front and 275/30s in the rear. I'm lowered on coilovers. Thanks in advance

Anyone know if you can run a 10 inch wide wheel in the front without major modifications?

Based on the fact your lowered i highly recommend you running a 45 offset for the rear. This way no fender mods and no real camber needed.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I have seen it done before. But they were lowered and did do some rolling and pulling on the front fenders. they also stretched their tires.

so it all depends on how much work you want to do and what style your going for

im in the market for a 08 gs 460 (if i can find one and currently own a 02 IS300 which im keeping). ive been in contact with MRR wheels about the CV8 fitments and everything will be fine. my question is with the tire size and spring choice im deciding on going with.
springs
GS F-sport springs
tire
F 245/35/20
R 275/30/20
the rear will be rolled, i just need to make sure this will work. as for the back seat, i dont have anyone to haul around to occupy that space hahaha

A 275/30/20 profile tire has a overall diameter of 26.8 inches

On the 3rd gen gs bodies on 20 inch wheels you have to run a 285/25/20 tire so you don't rub the inner fender area.

the 285/25/30 profile has a overall diameter of 25.7" so that having a lower diameter will allow it to clear with no rubbing.

So I would recommend to the 285/25/20 and not the 275/30/20

the front I recommend the 245/30/20 so you do not rub also. The overall diameter of this tire is 25.8"

Thanks for the reply, but Wouldn't the tires in the back be really thin? I've seen people on here (I looked all 74 pages) that run that setup of tires choice I posted. The offset for the front is +35 and the rear is +38. Would the lowering cause the rubbing your suggestions or would i have to modify the fender liner to avoid the rubbing. Lastly, I've seen package deals with the tire selection I posted that is why I asked, thanks

285/25/20 fits no issues as stated. If you run a 275/30/20 it is a thicker diameter so you will possibly rub and have to do fender mods.

Personally I prefer the 275/30/20 setup so I did fender mods to make that work in the rear with no rubbing. Otherwise if you don't want to do anything to your car the 285/25/20 was perfect.

Understood, I stated that I'm going to have my rear fenders rolled to support these tires. I had to get my fenders rolled on my Integra because of the offset of the rim, whole other story. I'm trying to get the most meat on these rims I'm planning on getting.
Blueprint:
Did you just have to have your fenders rolled in the rear to solve the rubbing?

Not recommended to roll. I shaved mine. Rolling can cause dimples in the quarter which then you have to get fixed. Shave w a belt sander

Heat gun isnt going to soften up steal, its used to soften up the paint so it doesnt get brittle and crack
