so when i make u turns or a really wide turn on the used 300 awd i got with 36k miles on it, the car feels a little weird. actually, what happened was i found some debris/dust on the side of the wheel, and i wonder if when i make the big turn the side of the tire is pointed to the ground to pick up that debris. the tire had still been shiny from the detailing the used car dealer gave it.

is this a common thing? can anyone relate?

hmm.....this sounds very interesting......never really think of it before......maybe next time I will take a look at it.

i actually get a grinding feeling when the steering wheel is 80 to 100% turned. and in the parking garage at work when i make them tight turns the squeak against the floor is awfully loud, even when turning very slowly.

There's a few things which come to mine that you should check.

power steering belt/fluids
tie rods
steering rack (there is a TSIB for our cars)
