Interesting. It could've been hard water that was not dried immediately and the excess minerals in the water stained the metal. The water in my area is really hard and over time it stained up my Acura pretty bad.

Do you know for sure what material and finish you wheels are? You mentioned chrome, are you for certain that they're chrome?

If they are a high polished bare aluminum there are various metal polishes that can help to remove the damage and buff out the damage. However, if they used a metal polish that is not intended for chrome/anodized aluminum or any other coated surface, it can create more damage to the surface appearance. Chrome + Anodize doesn't make sense, it's either one or the other.

Solutions:
Chrome:

Anodized:
n/a need to re-anodize

Bare Metal

unfortunately work wheels lips in this case are anodized

to make sure they are not hard water, use a bit of white vinegar, that will tell you for sure

I now its been a little while, but I had some very important family stuff that came up. I finally talked to the GM, Mr. Dunn, and he disregarded me just as all the other managers did. Telling me they only use soap and water and that they aren't turning their backs on me, that Im turning my backs on them(WTF). I was like what do you want me to be happy that you messed up my new wheels and just pretend it didnt happen. He then told me that if I wanted some new wheels, he can order them for me at the price they get it for(which would probably still be more than I paid and why should I spend another couple thousand when they messed them up). What a bunch of crap. He even had the nerve to chuckle while he was on the phone with me.

I told you he wouldn't help. He is a cold-blooded guy with little compassion. I knew when Jim Moran passed away that JMLexus was on the way down.
