one person here put LS exhaust tips on his bumper.
He painted the tips black. It's poorly executed, too low, and the molded body kit is ugly.
but it looks like the tips fit.

the dotted yellow areas need to be filled out
solid yellow base
and exhaust pipe needs to be pushed toward center an inch or two.

i don't know how much wiggle room the exhaust has. But if you push the tips up higher, there will be less body work on the sides.

The example up top get an F.....DJ, what would it look like if it was simply slapped on into a cutout of the bumper with no fill......it would almost look OK maybe without any bumper work?

i doubt that's gonna work. If you just cut it out, the hole would be too high, and you would have a gap where the existing factory cutout is. If you cut it from the bottom edge of the bumper, what would be left to support the tips?

the bottom center area of the bumper is pushed in too far, and won't be flush with the steep inner edge of the tips. and that will leave a gap.

the shape of the bumper has to be like the LS. so it has to be reshaped.

Tried the Buick dealerships anyone?

I think it cheapens the look. Eventually it will be like those little vents on the side fenders...everyone will have them.

if you guys heard of VIP platinum in irwindale ca, i think currently his 1st gen gs300 has a custom front, rear and sides from the ls460 i asked him what would cost for a kit like that and he said prob for the whole kit because they have to get the ls460 parts then custom fit then on our cars where talking about 8 grand for everything so figure just the rear bumper prob 2-3k....... count me out

The only piece on that Honda Accord that are not from honda are the LS tips. The trunk lights you see are from the JDM Honda Accord, not bmw. I think it looks great and flows really well. not to pick at your response or anything, just giving a nice accord some respect

i agree that finding someone to make these will be a little hard. keep in mind you would have to have 2 different sets made (one with parking sensors and one without). I like the idea but imo it should stay on the LS.

parking sensors are simply holes in the bumper right ? sensor mounts right in

it looks cheap because it's poorly executed and not proportional.

Lexus designed the tip right the first time. and they probably patented it, so no other automaker could bite their style exactly. that's why you see variations of the LS tips on other cars, but IMO, none is better executed than the LS.

Bad news guys,

Just got back from my buddy's bodyshop, and he told me that is going to cost between $7~8 bones to modify the rear bumper with LS' exhaust tips (one that DJ had photoshopped)!!!

He said it is labor intensive, because they have to use "pixie" to mold and shape the bumper by layers.

He told me that he rather pay me not to do it, so he does not have to work their axx off!!!
