just got the 06 430 fully loaded too and am catching up on all of this great reading!

does anyone have a link to where i can get that VAIS ipod adapter for the best price?

so just to confirm, the 06 GS430 Mark Levinson does not play mp3's at all?

correct, the 07+ models will. I have the Vias unit and it does the job and is an easy DIY install. I have had mine for ~ 1 year with no issues. I would rather the CD/DVD changer but this works. I just have to keep my iPod updated now.

I am at 97K and have my service done outside of dealer ...besides timing belt, what else should I replace/tune up?

I just puchased a 2006 GS430 for 23.3 - I L O V E it. It's loaded and fun to drive. The exterior seems conservative but classy compared with the feel of the drive. Its great. The service can not be beat.
