Depends what it's rubbing on. I think I need to shave the bumper tab area. I'm rubbing on dips but it's not cutting my tire. So I assume it's something soft rubbing on the tires. Dunno what my offset is but I'd say it's a little aggressive, nothing crazy though. I have shaved the upper part of the fender and running a 255-30-20 tire.

EV ftw!!!
Its so bad, its literally shredding the tire. I'm at a body shop right now getting the fender rolled. Why do you recommend not to roll the fender (I'm assuming rolling the fender is the same as bending it?)

i know what you are going through and yes it's very dangerous. those rubbing, especially at speed, can cut through tires very quickly. the wheels are aggressive

Excellent post and write-up Rominl!
I just installed my new wheels (the 20 inch Individ Logic with 245/35 in the front and 275/30 in the rears) yesterday and they go on the car easily, however when I hit any bump or undulation in the road the rear outer part of the tires are rubbing on the fender lining.
After reading your write-up, it appears my problem can be easily fixed by heating the lining and pushing it up.
Is my understanding correct?
The fronts rub but only on sharp turns so I may live with that as they don't rub when I hit any bumps.
I also just swapped out the Tein Flex for the Tanabe DF210 springs and KYB GR2 shocks.

Just pulled my rear wheels to take a peak around. Noticed my tire had some gashes in the middle. Has anyone elses tire hit the studs holding the fender liner in? Did you just cut them down?

I'm currently using CCW wheels in 19 X 11 size in the rear with 295 tires. The ONLY place I had to trim so very slightly is where the bumper meets the fender. So if you buy the wheels with proper offsets, you will be able to use really meaty tires. I don't really want big diameter wheels, but I want more rubber on the the ground. I don't know how some people are squeezing 235 to 255 tires on 10.5 inch rims

Sorry to bring from the dead but had a Q for all the guys who shaved the rear: Did you guys tape it up, draw a line and the use a cutoff wheel to cut the lip off then sand it down? Or did you just use an angle grinder and make passes until it was ground down enough and then polish it up?

I'm very experienced with cutoff wheels in general but have never done fender lips. I assumed that cutoff wheel is probably the quickest but wasn't sure if it produced the best result

Did anyone else run into an issue with clearance in the rear of the front wheel well behind the liner being a protruding part of the frame pushing against the liner? This is the last piece of the puzzle for my wheels to fit completely, im guessing the only option is to grind this down?
