I don't think it looks bad. If you are going to re-paint the best OEM to do it on is black, so non painted parts are black and not like red or silver or green etc.

ok, when i said maaco, imeant that they dont do the jambs. the quality looks good, i just think if you're going to do it, do it right. i love the black roof and i intend on doing mine black as well, the tails look sick too.
as far as the cf on the inside, i wouldnt spend another dollar on the car till u get those jambs taken care. but once again, its your car, do with it as you please.

i said the beige leather ruins the effect

if it were black leather, the whole black leather + black jamb would look good.

but black leather seats = expensive! reupholster would be cheaper.

and you still have black plastic on the dash and doors.

on the black roof!

Like Dunnojack said, too bad it didn't already have black interior otherwise it would look pretty sick with the black door jams.

dude you have a lot of faith in your body shop. I don't. Nobody can match as well as Lexus. People can make claims on how well their shops match colors or how good the body kit they are rocking matches. they are delusional and the color is always off a touch. You can tell if you are objective and are not defensive of their two tone car with a body kit or body work that just cost the owner thousands. In the end I guess the fact that you went with a totally diferent color gets rid of the need to match but may create other issues with work quality

My turn (lol),
I actually like it,
1. I personally would not attempt it so I give you a for that.
2. I have considered doing the black roof on my car so (looks good)
3. The door jams being black isn't that bad, goes well with the rest of the car but agree with Jack it's the color of the leather that is killing it. Change that out to black.

Get a nice wheel setup and will look even 10x better. In the end (as many have posted) if it floats your boat that's all that matters.

i have to agree that if the interior was black, it would make a huge difference.
