Default Dashboard / Instrument cluster access?

Ok - so our dashboards have these side panels which are hidden by the door panels when they are closed. They LOOK like they can be removed to allow access to the instrument cluster.

Does anyone have experience with this? If so, can you explain their removal? Is it simply a panel tool to snap it open?

You see, the Lexus thermal flasher is located somewhere under the instrument cluster and I want to replace the flasher with an electronic flasher for LEDs (to prevent that fast flash).

Any help appreciated!

They will just pop off. You can also take the center piece around the gauges off easily also. Its just pops off. I would think the side will offer you a little more play room. Other option is from underneath. The cover down there also comes off easily. I think its 2 10mm bolts.

The bezel around the gauges (black plastic around the glass) just pops off easily? If it's that easy, I'll just pop it off so it's easier to clean.
