Vossen Rims in all Chrome?
Hi guys, just wondering if you have seen any Vossen rims in all chrome or know if they can be ordered in all Chrome? I am really feeling the VVS084, but i prefer chrome rims on my black GS. I checked there site and only saw Chrome lips with the rims. They are all really hott rims. I know that when you order from Asanti, they will customize the rims if you want, just wondering if anyone has done this with Vossen. Thanks in advance.

Thanks guys, a rep emailed me back from Vossen, they said they could chome the 3 piece wheel for me, not sure of how much extra tht would be. Does anyone know of a good brand of rims that does chrome anymore, most good companies out there now just do the chrome lip. I know i can buy the cheaper rims off ebay and discounted warehouse for under $1500 with tires, i guess now i'm looking for quality. The Chrome Katana Destiny's I have on my GS now cause me $1500 with tires, don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with them, just looking to step up my game a little for the GS.

I like chrome too but these days, money doesn't necessarily buy the best quality chrome work. I had Maya wheels costing over 4K.....chrome peeled right off in less than 2 years. Others have had problems with high end wheels as well. I've had cheaper 1 piece cast where the chrome lasted forever.
I did have one set of stock Camaro wheels chromed by a shop in Cali, it was an excellent job. I know people who have had wheels chromed at other places and it was crap work. You just never know.
Companies like TSW sell chromed wheels that seem to last but their offsets are not to my liking.
Mikedozz, my recomendation...if you like the Vossens but don't want the finish they sell, panint them to color match the car. That would look nice.

thanks Ice, i have thought about that many times, black spokes and chrome lip. My GS is black, I think I am just hooked on the chrome look, been riding that way since 01, always black cars with chrome wheels, they get crazy looks, especially at night when the car is first washed or on sunny days. I do agree about the wheel quality, I had a set of Chrome Sendels on my Pontiac, those rims lasted me 6 years before I sold them, and the chrome was perfect, never peeled. I guess sometimes you just have to roll the dice. My Chrome Katanas are going on 2 years and the chrome is still perfect as well. I just make sure I take them off around Nov and put them back on in April.

Stick with Katana's, the chrome seems to be pretty good. Stay away from high end chrome wheels. They don't last.
Good luck.
