Carwash and MRR HR2
MRR wheels owners, I need your help. I don't have time to wash my car all the time, so I need to use the paid carwash occasionally. Is it safe to roll the car through the automatic washing conveyor, the one which every car wash has? The track seems to be wide but, it looks like, some parts of HR2 are sticking out more than tire. Please let me know if it is safe before I shave of the polish from my new wheels.
Thanks

i would not do it, only would i go to a touch less car wash where the sprayers rotate around you and your stopped. if it's going to drag you though the car wash it will surely mess up the inner lip of the rims.
i have HR2's and i feel as though they would scrape badly with the low pro tires. but to be hones it's an hour to wash your car...do your car a favor treat her nice...

wash it when you have time. if you dont have time you can do what i do when i just want a quick rinse and thats go to one of those self-wash car washes and all i do is just use the rinse and wash off whatever dirt i can til i get a chance to clean it. dont use the brushes there though, it will eff up the paint.

Thank you all for an advice, it sounds like a gamble indeed. I’ll have to start washing her myself, cannot stand a dirty car but have to live with it for couple of weeks. I never expected those wheels to be that picky. And for the last question, has any owner of HR2 ever survived carwash rails without damage.

I do not like riding dirty, but I ony detail my toy once every 2~3 month. Thanks to Zaino, dirt do not stick on my toy that esaily or firmly, so my quick solution is either spray it down with garden hose or drive-by Sewell Lexus (only 5 minutes away from my office) and let them wash it for me!!!
So if you live or work near a Lexus dealership, just swim-by and let them wash it for you... till you have the time to wash & detail it youself!!!

you guys are funny. I take my car to a car wash every week and it looks better than most I have seen and my wheels are fine. You guys are exagerating a bit
