Got some new wheels for the wife's car.
Out goes the Ruff wheels.
In comes the MRR GT5.
I know these wheels are nothing to get excited about, especially for most of you guys who think only multipiece wheels should go on a Lexus but MRR uses the best quality casting process so the wheels should hold up well. The finish looks like it's done well, too.
Probably not the last wheels I'll buy but you guys know me, I change wheels a lot. Actually, a lot of you guys change often too. ANyway, here's a couple pics before they are mounted.

The Sevas, Ruff and now MRR.
SHe liked the Sevas best but I was concerned with all the problems that people were having and wanted to get rid of them. One of my neighbors bought them and his car looks hot. Shoulda kept them.
These are 19x8.5/9.5, 35/45 offsetts machined silver face/black windows with polished lips. Entire wheel is clearcoated, which is the main thing I was looking for. Wifey is rough on shoes and I wanted something with protection.
Both of us love 5 spokes and you can bet your last dollar my next set will be 5'ers.

hmm.......
i dunno. i don't think this wheel style suits many cars out there. I have yet to see a car this looks good on.
i think it has to do with how the spokes taper off toward the barrel.
stare at this for a while. an hour.

since you asked....i'm not a fan of 5 star wheels on a 4 door sedan. 5 star works for sports cars more. having said that though, certain 5 star wheels may look nice but only if done properly with other mods (coilovers, bodykit). i'm not a fan of the wheel you chose, but that's ok, everyone got different tastes in wheels

But, the GS is just sporty enough to pull it off imo.
