Default Interesting news from Brembo. I thought I would share

I emailed Brembo concerning an application for our cars and this is what they sent me.

Hello Chris,

Thank you for your interest in the Brembo High Performance braking systems.

We unfortunately do not offer a GT system for the AWD model.

Due to lack of current demand, we will not be able to add an application for this vehicle.

Feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions.

We wish you continued success with your vehicle.

Best regards,

Danni

Now, my understanding and please correct me if I am wrong, is that the IS350 brakes will fit the 3GS. Furthermore, there should be no difference in the brake set up for a 2wd vs. a 4wd GS. I dunno, tell me what you guys think.

the awd has different front calipers/rotors, i remember reading it here before. so you can't put rwd brake setup on the awd

and also, just because is350 brakes fit on the gs350 rwd doesn't mean it's the correct application. brake balance could be off. for good brake companies like brembo, ap racing, etc... unless they have tested the brakes on a car and confirmed the performance is up to a certain standard, they won't claim there is an application

for example, there is a 4 corner setup for the sc430. sc430 share the exact same bolt system as the 2gs, but when you talk to stoptech, they do not have any 4 corner setup for the 2gs

I say there are a few companies that sell full brake kits for the 3GS. Its sucks that Brembo doesnt make a kit for us, but we still have options

Although I don't have to deal with it currently in this 140+ degree heat in beautiful Iraq, AWD is awfully nice in the snow that we deal with on the east coast.
