i can fully understand why it caught passnu2's interest. the novelty of having color matching door pillars is interesting, but it's a fad that will pass.

I have black CF pillars and think it adds a little more texture to the plain black. I'm not too sure about the color matched though.

I feel the last gen Jetta puled it off well b/c the door lines are in the roofline and don't stop at the windowline. Otherwise It simply does not flow well with most cars.

Ok..You guys convinced me. I bought a used GS with chrome pillars, the previous owner also put on a chrome grill I guess it was done to match the chrome wheels. I want to un-chrome this car. How do you take off those pillars? Do you just pry it off? Same with the grill, I didn't see any clips holding it on.

heat, and slowly pull

grille has claws on the back side that hold it to the bumper
