i can picture this look on a black car.

it will look fine for a murdered look.

you'll have to black out ALL the chrome too.

 

Imagine a flat black paintjob too.

i was thinking about flat blacking the gs...has anybody done it yet?

This is quite an involved process (i wish im wrong), i was contemplating on this mod a couple months back but i chickened out....I am assuming you have to dismount the entire front bumper cover, then lights...taking the lense off (and back on-resealing) from the housing is the "fun" part..

muahahha.... yeah its black.. im painting a bunch of other stuff black too and maybe when it turns out ok, ill just murder out every single thing on the car... but im gonna keeps some chrome trim accents for now...

Yes the front bumper has to come off...
It was a little work but much easier than the 2nd gen gs bumpers... this one you dont need a ratchet extenstion or anything and only 1 real screw holding the bumper up on both sides... I know that it will be much less daunting to take off the front bumper now when i have to wetsand the headlight covers later down the road...

headlights should be completed tonight and everything assembled onto the car tomorrow.. pics will be up shortly thereafter

 

if you leave the headlamp chrome trim untouched....... it will look like your lexus is wearing goggles.
