no racing my car either too much traffic to do that. I am surprised with the MPG with the V8 owners. I would have to really baby my car to get those kinds of numbers.

Those of you with the high ranges, what gas stations do you guys use?

I just finished my second tank of gas on with my 07 GS350 and it reads in the 290 range. I do a lot of city driving but I expected a much higher estimate.

I've been using Chevron.

Don't matter on the gas station, I think it's just the way you drive. The GS350 sucks in city driving. I have the AWD. I average around 15mpg in city and now that I drive basically all highway, I average between 23-24mpg highway.
I just filled up my tank earlier today and the cruise range was 380 miles. Now, that is base on 23.3 average mpg before filling it up.

In my earlier post, I said approximately 340mpg, but that was probably based on 20 average mpg.

Typically 400-420. And usually get about 500 miles to a tankful, approx. 31MPG.
'06 GS300. Commute approx. 38 miles each way. about 50/50 highway/city.

370 on regular gas. But this number change constantly base on the mpg which is around 24mpg for me.

It says 365-370 usually. I average about 21 mpg, but my commute is all city driving. On long highway drives, I average a very respectable 28-29mpg.

whlkev, I'm curious how U drive.. maybe I can get better on mine.

accelerate fast, average, or softly?
55mph? 65, 80, or 90mph? (i'm too tempted to hit 90mph.. I try to set on cruise but that still get me around 24mpg)

I just started using my Cruise control and that certainly does help with MPGs.. Best I did w/o using CC was 26 MPG, with MPG I get 29 MPG and I finally broke 400 on a full tank of gas. I probably could of pushed to 450 but was a little too nervous to try.

to me after much testing, cruise control helps gas mileage in general but it doesn't give you the best. if you control your pedal correctly, gas it a bit more when going down slope ad let it roll more going up, i ended up getting about 1mpg more

it's fun driving this car and play with the mileage

ya.. fun... I play with that too and next thing I know I was doing about 90mph. LOL
